Mont Lawn City Camp is The Bowery Mission's program for children and youth living under the poverty line in New York City. Opportunities for enrichment and mentoring can play a critical role in helping children thrive in school and life. Quality programs support children's social and emotional development, helping them grow into adults who are healthy, grounded, and economically self-sufficient.

On Wednesday, December 6, Thursday, December 7, and Friday, December 8, volunteers will help with setup for our Mont Lawn City Camp South Bronx Toy Store which will take place on Tuesday, December 12 and Wednesday December 13.

Volunteers will:

• Help put up decor
• Organize donated toys and gifts
• Set up stations for gift selection, wrapping, registration and refreshments

Volunteers can sign up for one or multiple shifts below.

Qualifications:

• Volunteers must complete registration by signing up on the Bowery VolunteerHub portal. A Bowery staff person will reach out with a sign-up link after you RSVP.
• Volunteers must attend a zoom call training leading up to the event. A Bowery staff person will reach out with these details after you RSVP.
• Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
• Dress code: No clothing or accessories with profanity or any language intended to invoke controversy.
