Mentor Children with Disabilities

About this Opportunity

Center for All Abilities seeks to serve individuals with special needs and their families through creative, educational and spiritual enrichment in a faith-guided environment. Their vision is for people with special needs and their families to realize and live out their full potential in God through supportive services. Walk with U (WWU) is a mentoring program for kids ages 6-17 with intellectual or developmental disabilities, predominantly within the Chinese community in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens.

Mentors meet with kids at group sessions on Saturdays from 3 to 4:30 p.m., and are asked to commit to 1 year of serving. Volunteers can serve virtually or in-person.

*Center for All Abilities is a Christian organization, and asks that all volunteers align with their faith statement to serve.
