In NYC, our Juvenile Justice Ministry serves in 2 main detention centers – Horizon Juvenile Center (South Bronx) and Crossroads Juvenile Center (Brownsville, Brooklyn). We also serve in Close-to-Home facilities in Bensonhurst, Crown Heights and in the Bronx. Our biggest goal is to become a good partner to the City agencies that run the juvenile justice system and walk alongside the incarcerated young people to show them real, loving, and consistent mentorship so we can help plug a whole in recidivism among young people. Further, we want to have mentors in every neighborhood in NYC, engaged and willing to disciple kids after they leave the justice system.
