About this Opportunity
The Open Door empowers immigrants to reach their full God-given potential to successfully integrate, participate and contribute to the well being of our society. Its vision is a new community of diverse individuals leading families to participate and thrive in the English-speaking economic mainstream as a model of community development.

The Open Door Training Program is required for all volunteers who wish to participate. Volunteers co-teach ESL, TASC (math), and middle school math classes for the local adult immigrant population, as well as a Children's Literacy program.

Volunteers commit to serving once a week or once every two weeks on a semester basis, Mondays or Wednesdays from 7-8:30 pm. Spanish-speaking Math volunteer teachers are especially needed.

Training, and submission of volunteer application and 2 references are required to serve. Request information to learn more.

Christians preferred, volunteers must be 18+
