Throughout the COVID-19 era, we have seen the power of the HFNY network. Our affiliates stayed connected to Hope for New York—and each other—through weekly prayer meetings and biweekly Virtual Affiliate Convenings.
Our volunteers continue to connect with virtual opportunities like sending notes of love and encouragement to residents of Isaiah 58. Since June, more volunteers have continued showcasing their creativity by sending handmade letters and art to the immunocompromised residents.
Recently, I received an email from my alma mater that included these words: “We would love to hear from you! [We] will be producing a digital magazine which includes information about our alumni. The Class Notes section will include..."
Lord Jesus, thank you for being a God of justice and mercy, for being a God that demonstrates justice and mercy toward us. We praise you that “righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; mercy and truth go before Your face" and that You ”love justice."
