Dream Center NYC exists to partner with local communities through programs designed around identity, empowerment, purpose, and neighborhood engagement in order to see neighborhoods flourish across New York City.

Join Dream Center NYC as we serve our neighbors experiencing homelessness in Downtown Manhattan. This is more than an outreach—it’s a chance to offer dignity, hope, and real connection to those who need it most.

Time Commitment: Approximately 2.5 hours, including a team huddle and debrief

What You’ll Do:

• Walk local routes in small teams
• Distribute essential care items like hygiene kits, snacks, and socks
• Offer compassion through conversation and presence
• Help identify ongoing needs for follow-up care

What to Expect: We’ll start with a brief orientation to prepare and pray together before heading out. After outreach, we’ll regroup to reflect, share takeaways, and celebrate what God did through simple acts of love.

Who We’re Looking For: Compassionate, team-oriented volunteers who are ready to engage people with empathy, respect, and hope. No prior experience required—just a willing heart. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.

Why It Matters: Thousands of New Yorkers face isolation and hardship on the streets every day. Through consistent presence and practical care, we aim to build trust and remind people they’re not forgotten.
