Dream Center NYC exists to partner with local communities through programs designed around identity, empowerment, purpose, and neighborhood engagement, in order to see neighborhoods flourish across New York City.

Join us for a hands-on, high-impact day as we pack food onto pallets to help feed and resource over 4,000 New Yorkers in need. Through the resourcing, infrastructure, and donations provided by Dream Center NYC, we equip Hope For New York affiliates and our own outreach sites in the fight against food insecurity.

Your efforts will supply food to pantries in neighborhoods with deep needs. Each week, we serve New Yorkers everywhere with essential items like food, baby care products, hygiene items, and more.

Come ready to serve and make a tangible difference—together we’re helping meet the unique needs of communities across our city.

Prepare to:

• Come dressed in clothes you don’t mind getting a little dusty
• Dress weather appropriate. While this is a mostly indoor event, our warehouse gate stays open due through the duration of the volunteer shift, due to us needing access to the sidewalk at all times.
• Wear closed-toed shoes (no sandals or open-toed footwear allowed)
• Be ready to stay on your feet for most of the shift
• Stay hydrated—bring a refillable water bottle
• Follow all warehouse safety guidelines and team lead instructions
