Habitat for Humanity NYC and Westchester County transforms lives and communities by building and preserving affordable homes with families in need, and by uniting all New Yorkers around the cause of affordable housing.

Date: Saturday, August 23rd.

Location: All Souls Evangelical Church, 1701 Vyse Ave, Bronx NY 10460 (east of Crotona Park). The 2 and 5 trains stop at 174th Street, which is only a couple of blocks from the church.

There are two volunteer shifts:

•  Morning: 7 am to 9 am (6:45 am arrival / check-in with Habitat)
• Afternoon: 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm (3:15 pm arrival / check-in with Habitat)

The morning shift will consist of cleaning the street outside the church and setting up both tables for the various vendors and possibly helping with the audio set up for the music.

The afternoon shift will be the breakdown of the tables and audio equipment (putting the items back in the church) and probably doing some cleaning as well.
