The Salvation Army provides services to those in need, including emergency social service programs, after-school programs, and disaster relief.

The Salvation Army Harlem Temple and Manhattan Citadel is excited to host a joint His Toy Store on Saturday, December 20. Our goal is to create a joyful and memorable holiday experience for local families.

We are seeking volunteers to assist our families during their shopping experience, wrap presents, assist in festive activities, and distribute festive drinks and snacks.

Volunteers should be at least 18 years old. Bilingual volunteers are especially needed.

Schedule:

12:00 pm–1 pm: Volunteers will experience an orientation and instructions for the day.

1pm-5:00pm: The toy shop opens at 1pm and runs from 1-5:00pm, with a 30-minute lunch break in the middle for everyone to enjoy a meal together.
