Uptown Literacy Lights is a new nonprofit dedicated to extending literacy resources to underserved and marginalized communities.
Mission
Uptown Literacy Lights offers holistic education and resources to underserved communities. We provide training and programs in reading, writing, financial literacy, legal understanding, emotional well-being, and physical health. We also focus on developing local leaders who then lead educational efforts for entire families in their own communities, helping children excel in life.
