Peace by Piece is an independent thrift store and community center. We are donation-based and seek to provide high-quality and affordable clothing and housewares for the Bay Ridge community.
Join us in making a tangible impact by volunteering at our community thrift store in Brooklyn.
Description: We're looking for caring, dependable volunteers to help sort donations, process inventory, and assist at the register.
Impact: Every shift supports local immigrant families and helps build a welcoming space for all. Whether you're organizing behind the scenes or offering a smile at checkout, your service matters.
Commitment: Volunteers should be able to commit weekly or bi-weekly for at least 3 months.
Groups: Groups of 3-6 are also welcome to serve in a one-time shift.
Age: Volunteers aged 14 & 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers 16 and up can serve independently.

- Before serving, volunteers complete a background check and an interview.
