Every Thanksgiving Day, The Salvation Army in Greater New York hosts a community dinner for more than a thousand guests on 14th Street.
For many in our community, guests choose our dinner among others offered because of the warmth, dignity and delicious meals we are committed to serve. While the pandemic has needed to transition our dinner from sit-down to curbside takeaway, our guests will still receive the traditional kindness and care they are accustomed to.
Volunteers are needed to help us serve takeaway meals, along with providing each guest with a drawstring back packed with a hygiene kit, PPE, gloves, hat, scarf and socks.
After RSVPing, please complete your registration by filling out the form in the confirmation email.
