For several decades, Hope for New York has partnered with the Redeemer network of churches to galvanize Christians to support our affiliate partners through a special Easter fund.
Many affiliate partners also shared which volunteers made a difference last year, so we asked to share their special shout outs about the volunteers that went the extra mile.
To show solidarity in celebrating #AAPI heritage and raising awareness around #stopasianhate, Thrive Collective supported the creation of a new mural, Spread Love: Stop Asian Hate by Bianca Romero.
At our Virtual Spring Benefit on Thursday, June 17, we celebrated the creative reimagining that HFNY has encouraged and fostered in our network this year!
Grantmaking is one of the four cornerstones of our model (which also includes volunteer mobilization, capacity building, and collaborative networks). Every June, we give Direct grants to many of our affiliates so they can plan their programs for the coming year.
