About the event: On December 13, Graffiti Community Ministries is holding our annual Holiday Toy Event!

• Our mission this holiday season is to provide tangible gifts for our neighbors and share the Gospel with our community.
• We know that this season is difficult for many of our families as parents struggle to simply provide for their children’s basic needs.
• Our Toy Event is an opportunity for Graffiti to help parents provide gifts for their children and build community with other families in the neighborhood.
• We also utilize this event to pray with families, share the Gospel and grow new and existing relationships with our community members.

Volunteers serve in three shifts in the following roles:

Roles for 8am-11am, and 11am-2pm:

• Welcome Table/Check in: Volunteers assist with welcoming guests / checking verifying their registration
• Refreshments: Volunteers assist with providing guests with our refreshment options / replenishing snacks
• Toy Helpers: Volunteers give prepackaged gifts to our guests as they exit event
• Info Table: Volunteers will have info on services Graffiti offers/assist with any registration matters/ support other posts when needed.

Shift for 3pm-6pm: Clean Up Crew

• Reset for next event
• Clean up post event
• Help prepare spaces for next event (Thursday’s Community party)

Qualifications:

• Accompanying children must be 9+ years of age and remain with an adult the entire time.
• No training is required for this event.
