Next Step Community Church creates environments to help hurting people heal, from providing holistic care to those experiencing or recovering from addiction to meeting the practical needs of individuals and families in Downtown Brooklyn. 

Our Toy Giveaway Event, which takes place on Sunday, December 17, allows parents and/or their kids to choose their own gifts from tables labeled in various age ranges.

Volunteers will help with setup on Saturday, December 16, and at the event on Sunday, December 17.

• On Saturday, December 16, volunteers will help setup for the event. They will:
  • Help shop for toys with Next Step staff at Target.
  • Help organize toys in the space in preparation for the event.
• On Sunday, December 17, volunteers will:
  • Welcome and log in "toy shoppers"
  • Guide shoppers to toys in different age ranges
  • Provide childcare to young ones whose parents are shopping
  • Wrap gifts

Masks are encouraged but not required.
