Offer Soup & Holiday Cheer to Friends Experiencing Homelessness

About this Opportunity

City Relief is a mobile outreach people experiencing homelessness. At City Relief, we recognize the dignity of each person we serve so we create a safe, welcoming environment, build relationships with the people we serve, and connect people to life transforming resources.

Volunteers make our outreaches possible! Volunteers serve our famous soup, bread, beverages, distribute socks & other needed resources.

In addition to the regular service opportunities above, on Saturday, December 10, volunteers will help create a festive, welcoming environment for our friends who visit outreach.

  • Volunteers will hand out holiday hot chocolate, candy cane blessings and may assist with other special holiday needs.
  • All volunteers will also assist with clean up support to leave the neighborhood cleaner than we found it!

Qualifications:

  • The minimum age to serve with City Relief is 16.
  • Parents must complete a minor release form online.
  • A chaperone is needed for every two minors.
