Deliver Meals to Homebound Elderly in Midtown

About this Opportunity

Citymeals-on-Wheels has provided a continuous lifeline of nutritious food and human company to homebound elderly New Yorkers in need, helping them to live with dignity in their own familiar homes and communities. By partnering with 33 neighborhood-based meals programs, Citymeals provides the centers with the resources to offer weekend, holiday and emergency meals to the elderly they normally serve during the week.

Volunteers pick up meals, receive route for delivery from, and walk in groups of 2-3 to deliver meals to elderly recipients in the neighborhood.
