Mentor Kids from Washington Heights Latino Community

About this Opportunity
Operation Exodus offers educational services year-round for Latino children and families who live near or below the poverty line, in the neighborhoods of Washington Heights, Inwood, and the Bronx.

Volunteers mentor children and youth ages K-8th grade on Saturdays throughout the school year in class settings based on age groups and gender. Program begins on September 16 and runs through June 16, but mentors can sign on to serve at any time during the year.

Volunteers are asked to commit to mentoring approximately twice a month to cultivate a mentoring relationship with children. They will also have anĀ initial visit and orientation on-site before committing to serve. Request information below to receive follow up and set up a date to visit.
