Meet Our 2025 #TeamHFNY Marathon Runners
Team HFNY is running in the 2025 TCS NYC Marathon for a fifth year! Meet this year's 10 #TeamHFNY runners who are getting ready for Sunday, November 2.
Jeremiah Titone
Jeremiah is a part of Team HFNY for a second year!
A native New Yorker, Jeremiah attends Redeemer Downtown where he co-leads a Community Group in Long Island City. Jeremiah enjoys serving in own "backyard" with his CG. They serve at HFNY nonprofit partners like 9 Million Reasons and The Father's Heart, which encourages him to live his faith alongside friends and neighbors. He’s excited to build on his marathon momentum from last year!
Sofia Sema
Sofia has completed 11 marathons!
A New Yorker for 25 years, Sofia ran the NYC Marathon in 2023. She also attends Redeemer Brooklyn and has volunteered with Next Step Community Church. For Sofia, there is no race more iconic than the NYC marathon!
Joseph Min
Joseph has found community at St. Paul's House!
Now in his third year living in NYC, Joseph has been connected to Redeemer Lincoln Square and St. Paul’s House, which are integral to his life. He serves regularly at Creighton's Cafe (soup kitchen), plus worship nights and community movie nights. St. Paul's House has become a second home where both the staff and volunteers have become some of his closest friends, and where he’s seen God restoring our city one step at a time.
Heather Isiminger
Heather will be running her fourth NYC Marathon!
As a long-time supporter of Hope for New York, Heather has volunteered for Don't Walk By, City Relief, The Open Door, and Next Step Community Church’s Community food pantry. She attends Redeemer West Side and has run several marathons, including New York, Chicago, and Berlin. Running is a sacred practice for Heather, which has taught her to show up consistently, be intentional, and to be present to experience all of NYC’s beauty. Running has also connected Heather with so many extraordinary people and cemented her love for the city.
Calum Dietzel
Calum has been a runner for his whole life!
Running has remained a healing activity, and he has been consistently guided by 1 Corinthians 3:23: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” At Church of the City, Calum also leads a men’s discipleship program and he volunteers at an elderly care center, Lenox Hill Neighborhood House.
Zack Johnson
Zack is a native of Georgia who’s the father of three!
Zack and his family moved to New York City three years ago with a strong sense of God’s calling. He attends Redeemer Lincoln Square and he’s also involved in the Parent Council at The Geneva School of Manhattan. Through Geneva, he has partnered with Dream Center and served with them for Thanksgiving and in Harlem.
Brandon Inkles
Brandon is the Area Director of Young Life on the East Side!
A native New Yorker who attends Redeemer East Side, Brandon has volunteered at The Bowery Mission and Dream Center. After suffering a sports-related injury many years ago, running seemed impossible. But successful rehab helped him run the United Airlines NYC Half Marathon in 2024, which deepened his love for running and his gratitude for New York!
Jessica Molzahn
Jessica is an avid runner and Mets fan!
Jessica has been a part of Operation Exodus staff and volunteered with Young Life and World Vision outside NYC. Volunteering showed her “what it means to work towards human good and flourishing. It reminds you how much good work the Lord is up to in this city and it's a great joy to be able to partner with Him.” Jessica has also run the Disney Marathon and is an active member at Lower Manhattan Community Church, where she leads a Community Group.
Michael Fong-Kutchins
Michael has completed half and full marathons!
Michael has run both the 2023 TCS NYC Marathon (as part of Fred’s Team) and the Bryan College Station Marathon, plus the 50K ultramarathon in Ft. Worth, Texas, and more half marathons. An attendee at Church of the City, Michael is eager to push himself beyond his limits and re-experience the unmatched energy, connection, diversity, and spirit of New York City through its five boroughs.
Harris Browning
Harris has served weekly at St. Paul's House!
Having moved to the city two years ago from Georgia, Harris has become involved with the Young Adults Council at Redeemer Lincoln Square and a weekly St. Paul's House volunteer. Serving at St. Paul’s House has been an eye-opening and amazing experience through which he’s developed friendships with the staff and fellow volunteers, and he’s been inspired by the love shown toward neighbors who are served.
