Chinese Christian Herald- English Study Buddies Program

English Study Buddies is looking for tutors to pair up with junior and senior high school immigrant students for one-on-one English tutoring. Many of the students are new to the states and have a difficult time in school due to poor language skills. Some Chinese (spoken) is helpful but not necessary. In addition, many of the kids just need to know that someone cares for them since many of their parents work long hours. Through tutoring, we hope to share the love of Christ with them by our actions.

If you are willing to commit 1-2 hours every Saturday to help a child with their English language skills, this is for you. We can provide some training and reading/language materials.

Dates: November-June
Time: Every Saturday, 1-2 hours AM or early PM, no holidays.
