Volunteers can assist with classes, teach sessions, provide supplies, and build relationships with students from a variety of at-risk populations.

Did you know that Police respond to roughly 600 domestic violence calls per day in NYC and there were 53,000 child abuse and neglect cases reported in 2004?

HFNY volunteers spent 1,858 hours working with at-risk children in after school programs during 2007.
