The Bowery Mission - Wednesday Meals

Every Wednesday of the month, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Location: The Bowery Mission, 227 Bowery New York, NY US 10002

Each Wednesday a team of 8 HFNY volunteers is needed to help prepare and serve dinner to a population of homeless men, and then help clean up. Volunteers aged 14 and up may serve and no all-female groups will be accepted.

Did you know that Police respond to roughly 600 domestic violence calls per day in NYC and there were 53,000 child abuse and neglect cases reported in 2004?

HFNY volunteers spent 1,858 hours working with at-risk children in after school programs during 2007.
