Back-to-School Backpack Project

5-10 volunteers are needed on Saturday, August 16 from 10:00AM to 1:00PM at Here's Life Inner City. There will be 500 backpacks for underprivileged children that need to be filled with back-to-school supplies.

Did you know that Police respond to roughly 600 domestic violence calls per day in NYC and there were 53,000 child abuse and neglect cases reported in 2004?

HFNY volunteers spent 1,858 hours working with at-risk children in after school programs during 2007.
