Here's Life Inner City is getting a facelift and needs 10-15 volunteers to help paint, hang ceiling panels, put up blinds and otherwise beautify their facility on August 9 and August 16 from 10:00AM to 4:00PM. This is a great chance for small groups to serve together!

Did you know that Police respond to roughly 600 domestic violence calls per day in NYC and there were 53,000 child abuse and neglect cases reported in 2004?

HFNY volunteers spent 1,858 hours working with at-risk children in after school programs during 2007.
