Young Life- Camp Counselor

Young Life camps are held year round and offer a chance to take students out of the city and help them experience nature while hearing about the gospel. Help Young Life students at a weekend or week long camp. Volunteers are needed to run activities like the ropes course, climbing wall, and mountain biking along with cooking and serving meals, leading small group bible studies, and hanging out with students.

Lake Champion August 12-17 and August 18-23
Saranac Camp (Latin American students) August 18-23

Did you know that Police respond to roughly 600 domestic violence calls per day in NYC and there were 53,000 child abuse and neglect cases reported in 2004?

HFNY volunteers spent 1,858 hours working with at-risk children in after school programs during 2007.
