Each Saturday morning, Brooklyn Jubilee needs attorney and non-attorney volunteers to assist Park Slope residents with questions regarding housing law and rights as well as public benefit elligibility. Training and a once a month commitment for six months are required to serve in this capacity

Volunteers are also needed to greet clients, help direct them to the food pantry program that happens simultaneously on site, and provide prayer and spiritual encouragement.

Did you know that Police respond to roughly 600 domestic violence calls per day in NYC and there were 53,000 child abuse and neglect cases reported in 2004?

HFNY volunteers spent 1,858 hours working with at-risk children in after school programs during 2007.
