Hope for New York

In just a few weeks many New Yorkers will be gathering with friends and family to celebrate an American holiday focused on giving thanks, yet there are many in our city that are unable to celebrate due to the hardships of life.  Consider offering hope to those struggling in NYC by serving through one of Hope for New York’s affiliate organizations this Thanksgiving.  Please review the list of Thanksgiving service opportunities and contact our affiliate organizations to sign up! 

• Saturday, November 22- Here's Life Inner City needs volunteers to help pack 5,000 Boxes of Love for inner-city families as a way to show the love of Jesus through practical holiday help. Shifts will be from 9:00AM to 11:00AM or 11:00AM to 2:00PM. To sign up, contact
• Thanksgiving Week: November 24, 25 and 28- The Bowery Mission needs volunteers to serve dinner during Thanksgiving week! 12 volunteers are needed each day to help prepare and serve a hearty holiday meal to homeless men from 5:45PM to 8:00PM. To sign up, contact
