YoungLives addresses teen moms’ pressing needs by creating a community that keeps teen moms anchored to a supportive environment, educating and empowering them with life and parenting skills, and mentoring to improve the quality of life for young mothers and their children with the hope of decreasing the high dropout rates of teen moms in NYC. Treating each mom and her child or children with unconditional love and respect, YoungLives offers teen moms relief from the isolation and struggle of their daily lives and hope for the future.
At this event, volunteers will provide childcare for the kids and babies while the teen moms attend the weekly bible study, called Campaigners. Volunteers will also set up and clean up the space.
Once you register, you will be can asked to complete an online background check form. The form must be completed in order for you to volunteer.
