HOPE FOR NEW YORK

The Father's Heart Ministries

Serve Breakfast & Build Relationships to Homeless & Hungry New Yorkers

8:15 AM - 11:45 AM

The Hunger Prevention Program consists of a soup kitchen and food pantry, open every Saturday except the first Saturday of the month. Approximately 700 people or more are fed in our soup kitchen during this time. They are served eggs, potatoes, cereal, bread, fruit, juice, coffee and milk.

In an effort to restore a sense of dignity to those ordinarily relegated to food lines, the guests are seated and served an all-you-can-eat hot breakfast in a restaurant-style setting. Guests are also encouraged to take part in the food pantry program, which supplies emergency and supplemental food in grocery bags.

Volunteers will prepare and serve breakfast to homeless and hungry New Yorkers in the East Village on the 2nd and 4th Saturday mornings of each month from 8:00am-12:00pm.

Your registration is not complete once you sign up here. Please check for a follow up e-mail that has a link to register your name and e-mail for Father's Heart, directly!

Due to The Father's Heart Ministries' Child Protection Policy, volunteers must be at least 14 years old. Volunteers between the ages of 14 and 18 must be supervised by a parent/guardian.
