Center for All Abilities

Support Children with Autism through Activities at Social Group

1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Center for All Abilities seeks to serve individuals with special needs and their families through creative, educational and spiritual enrichment in a faith-guided environment. Their vision is for people with special needs and their families to realize and live out their full potential in God through supportive services.

Every 3rd Saturday of the month, Center for All Abilities (CAA) hosts a Social Group for children with autism. CAA’s Social Group is a safe place for children, ages 6-12, to explore, learn, and grow in social skill development. Children will learn to develop different social skills through a format of games, arts and crafts, and drama.

Volunteers will teach social skill lessons and support children in small groups each session. A special educator will provide volunteers with initial training and on-going mentorship in order to best support each volunteer.

Volunteers are recommended to have First Aid/CPR training and will be reimbursed for completing, and are asked to commit to serving for 1 year.

Because there is a process to getting involved, please request information below to get started. Dates and times are to record when you request info, and are not volunteer dates.
